Hello! I am so grateful to be part of the Foothill Knolls family! This is my 6th year teaching FK And I love working with our amazing students and staff. I graduated from UCSD in 2008 and then from APU with my credential and master's in education in 2011. I have two sons and one daughter. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, going to the beach, cheering for the chargers and reading. I teach History, and Design Lab. I hope that my passion for learning will inspire my students. I am dedicated to recognizing and embracing each of their unique qualities, talents, and aspirations. I know that there are so many unknowns in the world right now, but I strive to create a safe and structured environment for my students. I am dedicated to guiding and instructing in the most effective and meaningful way possible. I want my students to know that I am here for them for so much more than academics. We are in this together and this is going to be a great year! Feel free to email with any questions or concerns.

Greetings! I am so excited to be returning the FK Family for the 2nd year and to continue working with the 7th grade team in supporting your students. This year I will be teaching English, Chemical Science and Design Lab.

My background includes completing my bachelors degree in Psychology at Cal State LA, where I also studied dance, English, and gender studies. I completed my teaching credential at Cal Poly Pomona and am currently in the process of working on my thesis to complete my Masters degree in Educational Multimedia.

Outside of school I am an avid reader and spend most of my free time with my books, cats, plants or baking cookies!

My teaching philosophy is that given the opportunity to make mistakes, students will grow not only to learn, but to innovate. I look forward to supporting your students in their personal growth this school year.
