Hello! My name is Ms. Franco and I teach 2nd Grade.  I have been working in the Upland School District for 19 years.  I received my Bachelors in Liberal Studies from Cal Poly Pomona and earned my Clear Credential from UCLA.  

I have a small Yorkie and a niece and nephew that I love to spoil.  I love nature and I enjoy being outdoors. Some of my favorite things to do are going on hikes, going to the beach, swimming, going to Dodger games, and teaching all my wonderful students!

Welcome to 2nd grade at Foothill Knolls STEM Academy of Innovation! I am so happy to be with you on this journey as we begin 2nd Grade together. I can’t wait to learn what sparks curiosity in our classroom and how our classmates learn best.

I am new to Foothill Knolls, and this is my first year teaching my own elementary school class. I previously worked in art museums, and about 2 years ago I decided to change careers and work in an environment where I could help children. My husband and I have 3 children (ages 14, 11, and 10) and 3 dogs. We love spending family time together hiking, camping, playing games, cooking, and traveling. I can’t wait to learn more about you all and find out what you love to do.
